COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course refreshes your knowledge and skills by combining scenarios that allows the permit issuer and permit receiver the ability to refresh on their roles and responsibilities under the permit to work procedure. The course includes completing a risk assessment associated with the task and how we can mitigate the risks to the lowest level by putting most effective controls in place.

17588: Apply for, accept, and carry out work according to a work permit in the workplace

17590: Issue worksite specific workplace permits

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Students that refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards or at least one of the units.

Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments.less
