COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Even if your staff completed their original training somewhere else, we can provide your refresher for you. This course uses comprehensive scenario’s that refreshes the candidate on accident management, CPR, choking and AED use, shock, medical emergencies and trauma so that you can be confident to preserve life, promote recovery and prevent the casualty from worsening.

​NZQA units standards refreshed

  • 6400 Manage first aid in an emergency situation
  • 6401 Provide basic first aid
  • 6402 Provide basic life support

 

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Students that refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards.

Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments. less
